DevOps/Software Engineer Intern

Role:
As a DevOps/Software Engineer intern you will collaborate with software developers, quality assurance, IT and other members of the company to collaborate on code releases.

Responsibilities:
· Filing bugs
· Writing requirements documents
· Setting up network devices and testing hardware

Required skills and previous experience/working knowledge:
· Linux/Unix administration and windows management
· Automation/configuration management using Selenium, Jenkins, etc.
· Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
· SQL and MySQL
· Understanding of code and scripting (Java, JavaScript’s, C/C++ and shell)
· Best practices in IT operations in an always-available service
· Postman for restful API testing
· Hardware installation including network devices i.e. hubs, routers, etc.
· A self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude and who is a quick learner
· Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Prior experience working as an intern in a similar role. Preference is for a Computer Science or Computer Engineering student graduating within 1 or 2 years.
· Legally authorized to work in the United States

Marketing Intern

Role:
As a Marketing intern you will collaborate with other members of the company on marketing initiatives to promote BoxNearby.

Responsibilities:
· Conduct market analysis to understand the product and customer base
· Develop a marketing plan to promote the smart locker on school campuses
· Create assets for the promotion (i.e. blogs, ads and, content for social media)
· Develop key performance indicators to measure the success of the marketing program
· Partner with staff on cross-functional projects as assigned

Required skills and previous experience/working knowledge:
· Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
· Familiar with Canva.com
· Excellent organizational and planning skills
· Superior verbal and written communications skills
· Results driven, quick learner and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Prior experience working as an intern in a similar role. Preference is for a student majoring in Marketing or Business that is graduating within 1 or 2 years.
